WHY I HATE FIXING MY NAILS: THE PERSONAL ENCOUNTER

As I sat in the salon getting my hair done, I saw a couple of Ladies queuing to get their nails done. And I thought to myself,  "you know, you could join these ladies' cravings, and get you some pretty nails as well 😊".

I wanted to know the exact pleasure ladies get from getting their nails done apart from the beauty it gives their nails.

Prior to this time, I was never in agreement to this act, it could have been maybe because my roommate once said it destroyed her nails, or, maybe because I for one, thought it was heavy and inflexible and all. But, I never truly had any real/personal reason for not wanting to try it out.

So, as I got my hair done, I thought it was the best time to try out this "maybes" of mine and overcome it finally or have a cogent reason for not actually fixing my nails...

Finally, I got my nails did and It felt really good to look at. But, I felt very funny inside. I can understand that you would say it was my first time.

But hey!, I hurt myself a lot of times in the course of the week and I could barely scratch the annoying mosquito bites enjoyably or even do my laundry. Everything was totally inconvenient.

What could get more discouraging than that?  By the end of the week, I rushed to take out the whole discomfort.

Kudos to all who enjoy fixing their nails, you obviously ENJOY it and have no personal reasons to stop. Simply because, you've tried it out and seen the plus it gives to you. 👍.

Don't get me wrong guys, fixing nails gives your nails a really pretty look especially if you've got the right colors on.

So, back to my story, the removal process, was even the most annoying process. *whew* From dissolving, to taking out, to filing my skin away. Gosh! I now knew i had a very VITAL reason not to try it out again.

Im sure, you might be wondering where my story was leading; Well, here you have it.

As a human being on earth, you cannot weigh your own SALVATION by the standards of others  or the experience of your spiritual leaders.

Your parents beliefs of salvation or prayers can not save you. It's theirs, not YOURS.

The fact that you were born into a godly home doesn't guarantee you an automatic pass into eternal glory with CHRIST.

The Bible says, in Philippians 2:12b , "continue to work out YOUR salvation with Fear and Trembling".

"YOUR" in that passage, means that you would have tried out, or tasted, or confessed with your mouth that you have been saved and had YOUR own personal salvation experience.

If you are still of the idea that your mothers' prayers somewhere is a seal over your life or that your Pastor's righteousness covers up for you eternally, now is a time to reconsider.

I can easily and confidently tell you I hate fixing my nails because I have a personal experience and I know the detriments/benefits I received from it.

Why not TRY out salvation first. Try out JESUS first and feel free to jump out if there is NO transformation in your life for taking that step. Of which I'm sorry to tell you, that, you can't escape a TRANSFORMATION with Jesus.

TRY HIM TODAY, WILL YOU?

I love you all. And
JESUS LOVES US ALL.
PEACE.
